His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Deputy Sultan, this morning consented to receive in audience the Honourable Senator Michael Ronaldson, the Australian Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Centenary of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, ANZAC and the Special Minister of State.
The audience ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezan.
The Honourable Senator Michael Ronaldson and delegations are in the country for a visit in conjunction with the Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Oboe 6 landings at Muara Beach. Present during the audience were His Excellency Todd Mercer, Australian High Commissioner, Major General Michael Kelly, Mission Director and eight Veterans from the Australian Defence Forces.
Also present were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Acting Minister of Defence and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.
