The Adat Istiadat Department is monitored by the Chief of Adat Istiadat (Yang
Di-Pertua Adat Istiadat Negara) who is assisted by the Senior Assistant
and Assistant Chief of Adat Istiadat.
The Adat Istiadat Negara Department is divided into three sections and each section
composed of small units.
1. The Administration Section.
i). The Administration Unit.
ii). The Royal Regalia Unit.
2. The Protocol Section.
i). The Traditional Occasion Unit.
ii) Data and Information Unit
3. The Mass Media Section.
i). The Research and Archive Unit.
ii). The Information Distribution and Design Unit.
